Role Overview

We are hiring a seasoned Head of Cyber (Reinsurance Broker) to lead and expand our cyber liability reinsurance capabilities. You will drive strategic growth, manage key market relationships, and collaborate across analytics, underwriting, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cyber liability reinsurance strategy and structure placements.

• Manage global cedent, reinsurer, MGA/MGU, and capital provider relationships.
‍
• Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers to optimize pricing and coverage.
‍
• Support client presentations, marketing materials, and reinsurance proposals.
‍
• Build and mentor a cyber-focused broking team.
‍
• Collaborate on innovative structures including parametric and hybrid models.
‍
• Provide market intelligence and represent LIRG at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
‍
• 3+ years of experience in reinsurance broking, underwriting, or placement, preferably within property, specialty, or parametric markets.
‍
• Strong understanding of treaty and facultative reinsurance structures and documentation.
‍
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
‍
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
‍
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, and reinsurance administration tools.
‍
• Driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple placements simultaneously.
